Infinitely connecting

I've followed the windows start-up guide, however, can't seem to get it to connect in any capacity. I'm using a Virtual Machine on Windows 11, Python 3.13 and a TP-Link 5.3 adapter.
The web app loads, however, it is infinitely connecting with nothing coming through to the terminal either. Both my Switch and Switch 2 pick up nothing. I could very well be doing something wrong, but does anyone have any ideas or fixes? Happy to provide any extra info needed - bluetoothctl show seems to be coming up as the example states. Test timeout as an example:

Could you please modify controller\protocol.py and see if there's anything printed in your terminal?

You could type bluetoothctl devices, and to see if Switch is in the list too!

Typenoob, thank you for your contribution! I have spent several (8) hours today trying to make this work. I have reached this point that it will not connect after running sudo nxbt test or sudo nxbt demo.

I can provide you screenshots and any data you require, if you can assist me I would greatly appreciate your assistance.

• Could you enter the Change Grip/Order mode in your Switch and type bluetoothctl devices, to see is Nintendo Switch in the list?
• Could you type sudo nxbt test and paste the screenshot here?

I have already modified the base protocol.py to include "print(data) # add this line". I do not see where it output any information when I tested it though?

Okkk. In general If anyone faced the similar problem, you could check your bluetooth device first.(May open your smartphone's bluetooth discovery page, and to see if you could connect it throught bluetoothctl or any other bluetooth application)
It most likely not a issue with NXBT but bluetooth device.

Im having the exact same issue. How did you resolve it? Did you just end up buying a new BLuetooth adapter?
