Description
Hello, developer team!
First of all, thank you so much for the incredible work you do on Power Sequencer; it's a fundamental tool for many of us.
I would like to propose three features that I believe could greatly improve the editing workflow directly in the VSE:
1. LUT Support in the VSE
It would be incredibly useful to be able to apply LUT files (e.g., .cube) directly to video strips as just another effect. Currently, the color correction process requires external solutions or nodes, and having this capability directly in the sequencer would greatly speed up the color grading process.
2. Copy and Paste Effects Between Strips
A function to select the effects from a strip (either a single one or the entire modifier stack) and be able to copy and paste them onto any other strip. This would be a huge time-saver, especially when working with many cuts that require the same color correction, transformation, or effects.
3. Hardware-Accelerated Rendering (VA-API)
For Linux users, the ability to render using hardware acceleration via VA-API would be a game-changer. This would allow leveraging modern AMD and Intel GPUs to drastically reduce export times. As an Arch Linux user with an AMD GPU, this is one of the features I miss the most for a 100% fluid workflow in Blender.
Thank you very much for taking the time to read and consider these suggestions.
Keep up the excellent work!
