Telemetry would probably be just for automatic error reports and a user count system. Although I have not yet thought of a way to implement the backend for that.

I would like to do the refactoring myself, but you are free to have another look after I'm done.

since I am quire experienced with flutter I can help with the refactoring if you'd gain my trust.

It's not that I don't trust you, I just dont think it make sense for you to do the initial refactoring. I'm not against you helping improve the code afterwards.

I have some disagreements with you about the V1 roadmap (most notably telemetry and testing)

If by testing you mean UI tests, then those are necessary. I would like to have tests for all parts of the app (not just official plugins as it is currently) before it's "officially released". This will make post v1.0 development easier.

I would also like to hear from you what is your vision with this application?

Well.... Thats not easy to answer in short (I will probably add that to documentation whenever I decide to write that).

For v1.0 this will just be a video adult player that supports multiple platforms (I'm planning to support at least the top 10 used platforms). All "user-facing" features are already implemented (although some still need to be polished).

For v2.0 I will add more advanced features, e.g. ability to subscribe to authors, paid accounts support, locally generated recommendations based on view history, etc.

For 3.0 (should the app ever arrive at this point) more content types will be added to the app (e.g. games, comics, onlyfans, etc)

hmm I mostly mean state management and project structure.
also widgets are kinda messy (way too long)

I would love if you could find a video library that is better and cross-platform. I havent had any luck with media_kit and most of the other libs dont support all platforms...
