Unable to control already implemented server

Hello - I just migrated an old pivpn install over to docker - and I have all my old configs working properly - without a UI.

I am attempting to utilize just the UI image - and point it to my already running openvpn docker container.

I have tried using the openvpn image from this repo as well, but I just CANNOT get it to work.

I've tried generating all the files and swapping out with my old ones - no dice - it always breaks the UI and things don't work - presumably because of the DB.

What is the correct method for using this UI with another running container?

Is there a way to import configs from a previous server and have everything work? I'm going mad over here!

Hi!

Same here. Have OpenVPN up and running on OpenWrt (no docker!), built the package on a separate machine, installed some stuff (go, sed, curl, jq, oath-toolkit) and the Web UI works. But it doesnt find the existing config, neither server nor already created client configs (which are working).

Any thoughts?
