How to reduce the size of the docker project?

In docker-compose.yml file I saw the following code:

If the default-app volumes is 1Gb that mean, celery and web will take each 1Gb. It will be hard for a large web application (like application using deep learning model).

Hi,

The images from this repo are about 500MB. You can confirm that with docker image ls:

helloflask-worker          latest                c23824d417ee   3 days ago          497MB
helloflask-web             latest                5b1bab164af8   3 days ago          497MB

Since the web and worker images are the same, the layers are shared. It ends up being about 500MB for both but Docker displays them individually. The only difference is the CMD that gets run which doesn't take much extra storage.
