Installing pypdf==6.4.0 returns version 4.2.0

I am trying to upgrade all the modules of our software, I used pip install==6.4.0 and I am getting an error of cryptography when importing it. I checked the version of the installed module and it returns 4.2.0.

It might have to do with the things that load initially...

Could you please try pip install --no-cache pypdf==6.4.0 or similar to avoid using the cached wheel. Maybe it is somehow broken.

Otherwise, it most likely is something about your conda setup, which I cannot really help you much about.
